Keeping a visual record of your discoveries in Nature is a wonderful place to start developing a regular art/sketching practice.
In this relaxing and fun workshop, I will teach you two watercolor techniques that will allow you to start playing and filling pages of your sketchbook, pulling inspiration from your daily life or photos of the natural world.
You don’t need to be a skilled or confident artist to start sketching! I’ll gently guide you through the whole process, and show you how easy, fun and rewarding this process will be… whatever your skills!

Learn easy watercolor techniques
Step-by-step instructions in real time (not accelerated). You’ll learn two watercolor techniques that you can use in your journaling practice, how I approach Nature journaling, tips and tricks from my experience of 30+ years as an almost daily painter.
Perfect for beginners
All levels are welcome. This workshop is beginner-friendly, as you can go at your own pace, and I’ll guide you through the whole process without skipping any step. If you’re a more experienced artist, you can take this class to whatever level you want to. It’s always interesting to see another artist’s approach, and there is so much to learn from one another!
TOOLS & MATERIALS NEEDED
In this workshop, we are going to use a sketchbook or watercolor pad, watercolors (of whatever brand… even kid kits are perfectly fine), a basic synthetic paintbrush or more (small/ medium), a pencil, a couple of fineliners (Micron pen or Staedtler waterproof pen, 0.05 and 0.1).
You don’t ned to buy expensive materials in order to have fun, make gorgeous art, and end up with something that you really love!
