In this fun class, I’m taking you along with me through the creative process, starting from the idea of making these festive mixed media tags, all the way to their completion.
If you’re new to painting, don’t worry, as you don’t need to be a skilled or confident artist to complete this project. I’ll gently guide you through the whole process, and show you how to make these tags easily and effortlessly, letting JOY always be your compass.

Step-by-step instructions in real time (not accelerated) to make the ten different tags shown in these photos. You’ll learn various mixed media techniques that you can use to make Holiday gift tags, journal pages, or even more complex work on canvas!
Perfect for beginners
All levels are welcome. This workshop is beginner-friendly, as you can go at your own pace, and I’ll guide you through the whole process without skipping any step. If you’re a more experienced artist, you can take this class to whatever level you want to. It’s always interesting to see another artist’s approach, and there is so much to learn from one another!
TOOLS & MATERIALS NEEDED
We are going to use what we have in our home and studio to create.
You don’t ned to buy expensive materials in order to have fun, make gorgeous art, and end up with something that you really love and feel confident to give to others.
Of course I’m going to show you how I use the tools and supplies I have in my studio, and you can decide to try some of those things as well, if you feel excited and inspired. But you can definitely do this project with very simple materials and basic art supplies that you may already have.
