Reframe Your Mind
In recent weeks I’ve done a tremendous amount of things without any stress at all. I mean- an extraordinary amount of things in various areas of my life, in no time, and without feeling tired, stressed or overwhelmed at all.
I can tell you, it may look impossible to the external observer. My Mom keeps commenting and is almost shocked about that! I say “almost” because she is somehow used to my very unusual mindset and methods! LOL
I am a bit shocked, too, about how easy and effortless it has been to do things that for many years I have thought were very hard and difficult and time-consuming, to in fact do them in no time at all- and I even had a lot of fun in the process!! :)
This very early morning, as soon as I got up, I had this insight, that I want to share with you. Remember it and practice it, because it’s all that you’ve always wanted to know and you will need.
This is the Truth about time: we treat is as absolute, and instead, it is relative.
How did I manage to do all those “hard and complicated and time-consuming” things in a very short time frame and by having fun? How could I possibly do that with an already full schedule? I mean- I didn’t have “extra time”, the time I had was exactly the time I had before! So how could I do this?
I simply reframed my mind. I let go of the belief that it was going to be hard and that it would have been a very long process- and I simply did everything I had to do with an open mind and heart, with curiosity, and the firm Intention to do it in JOY. I basically chose JOY instead of pain and suffering.
I didn’t do it linearly and logically– start and finish something. No! I jumped from one thing to the other, going with the flow and following the nudges from my heart! If I wanted to something, I did it without analizing the pros and cons, without thinking I had to finish something else I had started, etc. I just did what in the moment felt fun and easy, and something I wanted to do.
I also kept myself anchored to the present moment, enjoying every second of the process. I didn’t start complaining on how hard it was, how difficult it was going to be, how exhausted and drained I would have been in the end. I simply and joyfully did what I had to do!
That’s it. If I did this, you can do it too! :)
