A NURTURING AND RELAXING JOURNALING CLASS

“Quiet Christmas” will inspire and motivate you to reflect, be intentional and take action during the duration of this class.

This class is divided in three modules. We start with Intention and reflection, then we pass on to activities, and then finally we start our daily journaling practice, with 31 (+ 1 bonus) daily essays that will inspire you and guide you.

PREPARE YOURSELF EMOTIONALLY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

While the content is specifically tailored for the month of December (and the Holidays), this course can be used all year round, for an effective reset or to recenter in your heart and your intentions.
Ideally, the class should be started in November, so that you have the time to work at the first and second module before diving into the daily prompts on December 1st.

In this class we will explore:

JOURNALING

We are going to use writing or writing + collage as our medium to to dig deep into ourselves, jot down ideas, insights and epiphanies, and raise our awareness. While journaling is encouraged, you can use the prompts as inspiration and just reflect in your mind.

HYGGE

We are going to give ourselves permission to pleasure ourselves and play with abandon, doing what nourishes us at a deep level.  We are going to make ourselves comfortable and create atmosphere in our living environment, to prepare our nest for the journaling practice ahead and for savoring the Season.

INTENTION

We’ll start this journey with reflection and setting our intentions for the days ahead.

MINDFULNESS

We’ll practice being mindful, noticing when our mind is wandering and bringing it back to the present moment, finding inner stillness, breathing more, slowing down, savoring everything, and more.

RADICAL SELF-CARE

We will work at our mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing, spiritual wellbeing, emotional wellbeing. We will carve out time for self-care, shed the old stories (and write a new delicious story for ourselves!), treat ourselves with kindness and respect, and honor our needs and desires. The purpose of these practices is to receive and nurture ourselves deeply before we give to others.

PERSONAL GROWTH & EMPOWERMENT

“Quiet Christmas” is a beautiful journey of self-love, personal growth, empowerment and JOY. We will work at several additional topics during our 32 days together, such as acceptance, balance, forgiveness, letting go of the past, and much more!
