I was on Lake Como, Italy, for a Date With Myself, and for the first time in my whole life, I’ve found this gate open! What an amazing surprise!
I stayed there for quite a while, enjoying the quiet and Beauty, feeling greatly inspired- and I wanted to bring a bit of that to you, too.

What a beautiful place, so perfectly framed by that open gate… I love the way the blue lightens to almost white and then deepens again… nature does so perfectly what we try to emulate with paint.
